For Magistrate, District 3
As your current magistrate, I’m asking for your vote to elect me for my 4rd consecutive term. I’m extremely proud of what I’ve accomplished and feel my experience and passion to do the right thing will continue in the same positive direction.
Key accomplishments in just the past 3 years include 22 miles of county road improvements in my district. Working with state funds, we have rebuilt 2 bridges with little interruption to traffic making our bridges safer for our citizens. In District 3, four waterline expansion projects were completed supplying 35 households with city water.
Working with other fiscal court members, we negotiated contracts for roadside mowing and emergency AirMedCare Services, received 50% grant funding for a new ambulance building on HWY 330, and we are currently working on funding for an extended care facility.
My home and farm is in Morgan where we raise cattle and operate greenhouses. Currently, I serve on the PC Tourism Council, Bethel and Morgan Cemetery Boards, and I’m an active member of Morgan Church, Falmouth Lions Club and Rotary.
My goal is to use our taxpayer dollars wisely to improve our property values and create desirable country living in my district and county.

State Senate in the 24th District
Rachel Roberts, a Democrat and local business leader, today announced her candidacy for State Senate in the 24th District. Rachel is from a long line of civil servants and is taking the natural step to serve the good residents of Campbell, Bracken and Pendleton counties.
“I’ve marched alongside my fellow citizens, I’ve made hundreds of calls to our representatives, I’ve done petitions, I’ve donated, and from all that I have learned one thing: it’s not enough. We need thoughtful, hardworking and proven leaders to bring our communities together and be true champions for their interests. Now is the time to bring government back to the people!”
“We need a fresh approach to lawmaking in Kentucky. It’s time to toss out the half measure, legacy politicians. My opponent ran on overcoming the opioid epidemic, but under his watch addiction numbers have skyrocketed and Campbell County ranks second in the state for most heroin and Phentynol deaths.”
“The bottom line is that people in our district need better jobs, solutions to the opioid epidemic and a strong education system for our children. I’m running to bring resources back to our region and develop real solutions for the people who live here.”
Roberts is owner of The Yoga Bar studios, voted Best of Northern Kentucky, and co-owner of RAKE Strategies, a brand strategy firm. She grew her businesses from scratch and had both the savvy and dedication to build The Yoga Bar into a thriving hub for community involvement and charitable fundraising.
As with the rest of her family, Rachel Roberts always looks for the best opportunity to serve her community. Her family roots are in Paris and Lexington, Kentucky. Rachel’s Mother, Norton Roberts, is a Chase Law School graduate and spent her early career working for labor rights. Rachel’s father, John Roberts is an Addiction and Mental Health Specialist. Rachel and her husband Michael Skrzelowski, a Beechwood H.S. graduate, live in Newport.
